CENTRAL INSTRUMENTATION LAB

The Central Instrumentation Laboratory, spanning an area of 900 sq. ft., serves as a hub for advanced research and analytical studies. The lab is equipped with sophisticated and high-precision instruments, including High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Auto Karl Fischer Titrator, among others, supporting a wide range of analytical and formulation-based investigations.

Notably, the CHIPS Drug Testing Laboratory housed within the facility is recognized and approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) and the Drug Control Administration, Government of Andhra Pradesh, for testing and analyzing drugs from regional institutions and pharmaceutical industries.

In addition to supporting academic research, the laboratory offers consultancy services to educational institutions and pharmaceutical companies. Its services include:

• Extraction and formulation of herbal products
• Analytical method development and validation based on Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD) principles
• Formulation development and evaluation of various novel drug delivery systems
• Pharmacokinetic studies
