INFRASTRUCTURE
CHIPS is established in a spacious, ambient four floored building with a total built up area of 72,000 square feet. It contains 13 well-furnished classrooms and 25 highly equipped laboratories to teach and train various levels of Pharmacy curriculum. The state of the art infrastructure enables students to expand their intellectual horizons beyond the normal limits. CHIPS is equipped with highly sophisticated central instrumentation lab and machine lab which mimics a small pilot plant, enabling R&D activities pertaining to the design and manufacture of various types of dosage forms and their evaluation.
The institution is strengthened with well-equipped library having 8640 volumes of books, 2234 titles, 221 CDs, 45 National and International journals and 27658 e-journals, 195809 e-books with drug information softwares like MICROMEDEX, INVENTI and DELNET. The library is fully digitalized and also provides reprographic facilities for staff and students for their academic and research related activities. Animal house at CHIPS is built in accordance with CPCSEA norms to accommodate various experimental animals which is required for carrying basic experiments at graduate and post graduate level.
CHIPS is also fully furnished with air conditioned Computer lab which enables the students to develop soft skills pertaining to basic software applications and improving their communications skills. Fully air conditioned seminar hall with Audio Visual facility is another asset to the institution. Medicinal plants of more than 400 varieties were planted within the campus which gives a healthy and lush green environment to the members of the institution. A separate canteen facility is provided to all the staff and students which serve healthy food at minimal cost. The entire campus is backed by 82.5KW generator for uninterrupted power supply. Reverse Osmosis plant with a capacity of 500 litres/hour is installed in the campus to provide hygienic drinking water to all the members of the institution.

| 5) Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 400 is fully air conditioned and provided with AV equipment worth 15 lakhs. |
| 6) Separate hostel for both Girls and boys is provided at N.E.S women’s hostel and men’s hostel respectively. |
| 7) Patient care clinic was established at the campus for providing basic services of health care such as selling OTC drugs, prescription evaluation, Blood pressure and Blood glucose monitoring, patient counseling etc. |
| 8) Bus facility is provided to all the staff and students, which covers the whole of Guntur city. |
| 9) Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided to students for their healthy growth along with academics. |
